This project was particularly exciting because the design was for a full front garden . The client wanted a wildlife friendly garden full of flowers. They liked pinks, purples and white colours in particular.

The front garden was originally mostly laid to lawn with some established shrubs around the edges. The lawn was almost completely removed in March, leaving only a small strip as a path. The shrubs were left in situ and the plants planted in the spring.

The 'After' photo was taken in September of the same year. You can see how the garden has been transformed in 6 months - having kept up with a fair bit of watering along the way.

Feedback from the Client
"I was thrilled with Catherine's design for my small south facing front garden. I asked for a wildlife friendly, low maintenance garden in my favourite purple, pink and white colours and that is exactly what I got. A beautifully presented design, using perennial plants which looked amazing, even in its first year. Catherine is very knowledgeable about plants."

The client had recently had a new bed created from sleepers, new lawn and a new fence in the back garden. The client was keen to have a border with lots of flowers that would look great over a long period but didn't need too much maintenance.

Feedback from the Client
"Catherine has given me exactly what I wanted for my west facing garden - an all seasons border that's easy to look after and lots of bright colour and interest. The outcome is perfect and I can't wait to see how it develops over the next few years."
